Weak Water Pressure

First question: is it one tap, or the whole house? The answer decides the fix.

Check these first

1. One weak tap: unscrew the aerator (the little filter at the tap's tip) and clean the buildup — that fixes it most of the time.
2. Just the shower? Same thing — the head clogs with limescale; soak it in vinegar for an hour.
3. Whole house weak: check whether the pump is running, and that the main valve is fully open.
4. An empty roof tank or a broken float valve causes the same symptom.

When to call a technician

A dead pump, scaled-up pipes, or old valves — a plumber can diagnose it in one visit.
