AC Not Cooling

Kuwait's heat and dust are hard on AC units. Before you call, check these simple things.

Check these first

1. Clean the filters — dust blocks the cold air, and this is the most common cause.
2. Make sure the thermostat is on Cool and set below room temperature.
3. Check the outdoor unit: is the fan spinning? Does it have space around it, or is it smothered by stored items?
4. Ice on the copper pipes? Turn the AC off and let it melt — that's a sign of low refrigerant or a blocked filter.

When to call a technician

No cooling at all, or ice keeps coming back? Likely low refrigerant or a compressor issue — an AC technician can fix it fast.
